Our Inspiration

Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore

Drawing inspiration from the life and work of one of the greatest thinkers of our nation, Tagore Baal Niketan was founded with a vision to encourage young minds to dive fearlessly into the world of knowledge and learning. In our endeavour to contribute to the growth of our city and country, the School aims to help students develop into good citizens while they march ahead in their chosen fields with confidence and un-wavering ambition.

True to its name, Tagore Baal Niketan is intrinsically influenced by Gurudev’s philosophy of ‘Learning through joy and creativity.’

Our Founder

Educationist and visionary Late Ms.Vimla Raheja (popularly known as Bade Didi), an alumna of Visva Bharati University, laid the foundation of this Institution on 1st August, 1963.
Since its humble beginning andthrough the decades of successfully imparting quality education, the Management and Staff of Tagore Baal Niketan have kept Bade Didi’s passion for progress alive.

School’s Aim

The aim of this institution is to provide adequate facilities and opportunities for proper mental, emotional and physical development of the children entrusted to its care. The School offers a secular and safe space for students to explore their developing skills and talents while keeping a close eye on their psychological and emotional needs. We strive to provide value-based education so that children are equipped with intellectual and practical skills that will build a strong foundation for their future.

Tagore Baal Niketan is a private School affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (C.B.S.E.)offeringfull-fledged educational facilities from Nursery to Class XII. It is recognized by the Department of Education, Govt. of Haryana and the Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India. Governed by a Board of Trustees, Tagore Baal Niketan is a progressive Co-Educational School.

From the President’s Desk

Greetings to all my young friends!

Each year we, at Tagore Baal Niketan, joyously welcome you into the world of education. Every year when I see vibrant young students filling our classrooms and playgrounds with their effervescent energy, I am reminded of these words written by our guiding light, Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore.

“Reach high, for stars lie hidden in you. Dream deep, for every dream precedes the goal.”

I have always believed that each one of you has a special place in this world and there is space for every one of your dreams. But to turn even the most vivid dreams into reality, one needs to put in dedicated effort.
In his limitless wisdom, Gurudev once said, “You can’t cross the sea merely by standing and staring at the water.”
Tagore Baal Niketan School offers you a safe nurturing environment to hone your skills and reach your true potential. We aspire to be the springboard which gives you the momentum to launch into this rather competitive world with a sense of confidence and a fighter’s spirit.

Our School’s aim is to educate the youth of the world to take their productive place as leaders in the global community by offering our pupils a comprehensive education from Nursery to Class XII.
The curriculum emphasizes the acquisition of knowledge, useful skills, understanding, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities for all students attending our School. It is our responsibility as educators to nurture and develop every student to his/her maximum potential. Students are continually encouraged to appreciate our diverse community and to care for others by becoming global citizens and develop a concern and active respect for the environment.
The Schoolhas tried to reflect the kaleidoscope of learning, adventures, creativity and positive approach of our young minds through writing and drawings.
I hope this effort of our minds will serve as a stepping stone in their pursuit of excellence.
